Signed .deb / AppImage packaging: on the roadmap

What happens after download

1Extract the archive and run the executable.
2Create your account inside the app: full name, email, country dropdown, professional category, optional verification links.
3Your application goes to PENDING_APPROVAL — an administrator reviews it.
4Once approved, sign in inside the app with your passphrase (+ MFA when enabled). The app auto-registers this computer in your device inventory.
Why sign-in isn't on the website: authentication lives exclusively in the desktop client, so your passphrase never touches a web page — a smaller attack surface, and every login surface is a registered, revocable device.
